Format Exctention for AutoCAD Drawing

AutoCAD is a CAD computer software for drawing two-dimensional and three-dimensional developed by Aujtodesk. AutoCAD product family as a whole, is a CAD software most widely used in the world.

AutoCAD is used by civil engineers, land developers, architects, mechanical engineers, interior designers and others.

The original data formats AutoCAD, DWG, and the more unpopular, the data format can be interchanged (interchange file format) DXF, the de facto standard CAD data. Lately supports AutoCAD DWF, a format published and promoted by Autodesk for publishing CAD data.

AutoCAD currently only running Microsoft operating disistem. Versions for Unix and the Macintosh was released in the 1980s and the 1990s, but later discontinued. AutoCAD can still run on the emulator like Virtual PC or Wine.

other than that the drawing using AutoCAD can also be stored in the form of ACIS file (*. sat), (*. stl), (*. pdf) etc.
